Customer Review Black And Decker Coffee Maker
I enjoy this Black And Decker Coffee Maker. For a drip coffee maker averaging at approximately $20.00, you really can not go wrong with all the CM1050W. This one includes JUST the correct amount of features. Myfavorites including the two-hours shut off and comparatively quick brew time. Also, purchased mine in white, and it’s just too fantastic to check it. Not to mention simple to tell when I need to wash it.
As for me, I don’t utilize the sneak-a-cup feature since I locate the first cup that drips out to be quite robust and the remaining portion of the pot lacks for want of it. Furthermore, if you grind your beans, then you are likely aware that the more the grounds are exposed to the atmosphere, the overall quality of the coffee reduces, thus lowering the quality of every pot you program to brew ahead of time. If you buy pre-ground coffee, this probably doesn’t make much of a difference. One additional note would be the comparatively low brew temperature, but if you listen to details like that, you are probably not in the market to buy a $20.00 coffee maker, anyhow.
And to address the overflow problem, I agree it is an apparent design defect. But making sure to adjust the basket every time properly is a small price to pay to get a machine with virtually no additional problems. One tip for preventing this is to fill the water reservoir. Replace the carafe, and THEN be sure that the basket is seated correctly and it didn’t get displaced by the motion of this carafe. Be sure to take care of this matter, however.
